Robert Young
Robert Young is one of the most respected artists working in Canada today. Known for his intricate drawing, painting and printmaking, Young has a long and illustrious exhibition history with more than 25 solo exhibitions throughout his career. His work is included in numerous private and public collections across Canada and in England including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada
Alan Flint
Alan Flint has many years of experience in print. After receiving his BFA from NSCAD in Halifax and an MFA from Concordia University in Montreal, Flint worked for 5 years as Technical Director at Open Studio, in Toronto. He also ran his own print media studio in Hamilton, Ontario for 10 years doing collaborative print productions with numerous provincial, national and international artists. Flint?s teaching experience is extensive, most recently 6 years at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Currently, he is Artist in Residence at Emily Carr Institute for Art and Design.
Debra Yelva
Debra Yelva is one of the original instigators of BIMPE. When the show was first conceived in 1999, Debra was the President of Dundarave Print Workshop. She was an active member of Dundarave for several years while also being involved in community art projects in Vancouver. Debra has exhibited nationally and internationally and has taught printmaking courses in Vancouver, Red Deer and Calgary.
In 2003 Debra moved back to Calgary and completed a Masters in Art at the University of Calgary. She currently lives in Calgary and is President of the Calgary Allied Arts Foundation.
